Chapter2 has had its spring cleaning...our winter stock has been replaced with spring and summer clothing and handbags...and with Spring, comes another change - a new Store Manager!
My name is Kelly Fitzpatrick and I look forward to meeting you and helping you find your newest treasure at Chapter2. I bring 15 years of retail manangement experience to Chapter 2 Thrift Store and my passion is to make a difference in the lives of young women.
I'm excited to work with Grace Initiatives' clients in the jobs skills training program and to make Chapter2 all it can be to support the ministry. Watch your email for exciting promotions and announcements about Chapter2 in the near future!
Store Hours are Tuesdays thru Saturday: 10 AM - 2 PM
If you would like to commit to a regular volunteer shift at Chapter2, please contact me at 609-242-3001or email me directly at chapter2@graceinitiatives.org.. We are currently in need of Friday and Saturday volunteers.
We are located at 314 S. Main St (Rt. 9) in Forked River, across for the Forked River NJ State Marina.
Our purpose is three-fold
1) Chapter2 Thrift Store provides our young women with job-related skills, giving each girl greater oppportunities to succeed as she prepares for the second chapter of her life, after the birth of her baby.
2) All proceeds from Chapter2 directly fund the programs and services of Grace Initiatives' to pregnant young women at the Jersey Shore.
3) Chapter2 Thrift Store creates an awareness in our surrounding community of the prevalence of teen pregnancy and the issues faced by young parents.
Come out and get yourself a great deal and do some good. We will post our "TAGS ON" items and deals of the week~~Look out for us in the future!
